As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and collaboration at The Collaborative, we have decided to move our newsletter platform to Substack, where our founder Malcolm Fraser will share updates and insights via The Art of Data Governance.
Why the change, you may ask?
Well, as we embark on the next 90-day sprint in the development of the Data Value Toolkit, we are eager to engage with you, our practitioner community, in a more interactive and open manner. By shifting to Substack, we aim to facilitate a two-way conversation where we can share updates, insights, and progress on the toolkit's development, while also inviting your feedback, ideas, and contributions.
Why the Art of Data Governance?
As many of you know, Malcolm brings with him over 20 years of invaluable experience in digital transformation and data-driven innovation, coupled with his current research activities at Otago University in New Zealand around the role of governance in data collaborations.
His depth of knowledge, coupled with a pragmatic understanding of the evolving landscape of data governance and stewardship, makes him uniquely qualified to spearhead this migration. In particular, Malcolm will be developing the data governance frameworks for the Realize Phase of the toolkit, where he will work alongside our other toolkit practitioners, partners and researchers to get the Data Value Toolkit launch ready and help organizations discover, unlock and realize the value of data.
